Privacy Policy
Last Updated: July 11, 2026
At PosiProp, we are committed to protecting the privacy and security of our users' personal data. This Privacy Policy details how we handle account credentials, transaction logs, and public property market datasets in compliance with the Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).
1. Information We Collect
We collect and process the following information to facilitate account registration and platform access:
- Account Information: Full name, email address, and authentication tokens provided during Google or credentials sign-in.
- Subscription Data: Secure processing credentials handled directly by our certified third-party payment partner (Stripe). We do not store full payment card details on our servers.
- Connection Metadata: Internet Protocol (IP) addresses, browser specifications, and user-activity records utilized strictly for system diagnostics and security compliance.
2. How We Use Collected Data
The information we collect is used to:
- Authenticate accounts, verify subscription status, and unlock analytical property charts.
- Process billing transactions and maintain subscription tiers.
- Provide user support, address bug reports, and optimize database querying speeds.
- Monitor platform load capacity and protect our services from malicious activities.
3. Property Market Datasets
PosiProp displays aggregated property market intelligence, suburb yields, and median rental records sourced from public listings, historical reports, and official census indices. These public property data points do not contain personally identifiable user credentials. Suburb-level indices are compiled and synced periodically to maintain platform updates.
4. Third-Party Services
We do not sell, rent, or lease our user list to third parties. We share data only with trusted service providers necessary to run the platform:
- Authentication: Firebase (Google LLC) manages secure account authentication sessions.
- Payment Processing: Stripe Inc. processes payment subscriptions securely.
- Infrastructure: Public cloud hosting partners store and serve property database tables securely.
5. Data Retention & Security
We store account profile settings for as long as your account remains active. We enforce standard encryption and secure transmission protocols (HTTPS) to safeguard data transfer. While we implement strict protection standards, no internet-based data exchange is completely immune to risks, and users are encouraged to maintain secure login credentials.
6. Your Rights & Access Requests
Under the APPs, you have the right to request access to the personal data we hold about you, seek corrections to inaccurate profiles, or request account cancellation. For any inquiries regarding data protection, you may reach our compliance coordinator through the platform support form.
